Permits, Ordinances, and Homeowner Responsibilities

To help preserve the appearance, safety, and overall integrity of the community, all homeowners within the Townhome Association are required to comply with applicable Borough ordinances, zoning regulations, and permitting requirements.

Homeowner Responsibility

It is the responsibility of each homeowner to verify with the Borough whether a permit is required before beginning any alteration, installation, or improvement to their property. This includes, but is not limited to, exterior modifications, structural changes, or additions that may be subject to zoning or building regulations.

Failure to obtain required permits may result in violations, fines, or required removal of unapproved work.

Association Review and Approval

If a homeowner is granted a zoning, subdivision, or land development variance by the Borough, the Townhome Association reserves the right to review and reject the variance if it is determined not to be in the best interest of the community or neighborhood as a whole. This right is exercised without prejudice and is intended to protect the appearance, consistency, and property values of the community.

Please note that the Borough will not issue any permit without a letter of approval from the Townhome Association. Homeowners must obtain Association approval prior to submitting permit applications to the Borough.
